Keep the toilet clean

This is an effective toilet bowl cleaning system using bleach based tablets to keep the bowl fresh and clean with each flush. I've used the tablets that go directly into the tank, but this is nice because it only gets the cleaning solution into the toilet bowl rather than the tank. This extends the life of the tablets because they aren't constantly sitting in water. It also helps protect the tank system from being exposed to harsh chemicals that can break them down over time I have been using this for a week and it does keep the bowl clean with a light bleach smell. I do still need to regularly brush the bowl, but not as often. I haven't gone through a whole tablet, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm confident it will last longer than the ones that go directly into the tank It is easy to set up as well, and comes with everything you need to get started. Once it's set up all you need to do is replace the tablets

Works well

Installed this a couple of weeks ago. Has done a very good job since installed. I have seen no difference in the effectiveness when compared to brands I have used in the past - Clorox, 2,000 Flushes, Great Value. It has the odor of chlorine bleach. It's noticeable, but hardy overpowering. Much preferred by me than some exotically perfumed competitors (I can hardly fathom those who buy the blue-dyed version of these products - a bowl of sickly green water after urinating seems like some kind of punishment for having to pee in the first place. And putting a Lavender stink on top of pooh and feeling good about one's life seems like insanity to me.) So... It does the job it's manufactured to do and does it well at considerable savings over other products of this type.

Good product with one change

Easy to install, the bleach scent is strong, which would be nice for a lemon scent. Please do not use the included one; it will break within weeks. Replace it with 5/16 in. O.D. x 3/16 in. I.D. x 20 ft. Clear PVC Vinyl Tube. Any hardware store

Good product needs a little work to prevent leaks.

As many other reviews said, it leaks pretty badly out of the box. This is due to plastic molding marks on the rim of the container. The marks are lower than the remaining edge and allow water to slip by even though there is a seal. An easy fix is to take a sanding block and briefly sand the top to even it out. This takes approximately 5 minutes and completely resolved the leaking.

VERY STRONG bleach smell!

Product worked a little too good. Both the bathroom and the bedroom along with the hall had a very strong bleach smell. Burned my eyes in the bathroom it was so strong. It was easy to install though. Better off buying the one made by Fluidmaster. Refills are a little more expensive but they last longer.
