I've had a lot of different styles of pill cases. I have not had one that is heavy like this metal one. I like the look of the copper-colored metal cases with the silver-colored top. All the other ones I've had are plastic. If you want an airtight pill case, this one will work. There is a thin rubbery layer that rests below where each compartment screws together that seals it really tight. It has a nice hanger as well. The compartments are small, but I tried out 8 supplements including 2 fish oil caps (which are large) and they fit. Of course, it would depend on the size of your pills/caps as to how many it would hold. One thing I don't care for too much is that to line up the days of the week so you can read them all at once, you have to twist the compartments really tight. I don't want to have to work that hard so I will probably leave them looser and just twist the case in my hand to find the right day. They also take a little effort to get them aligned properly to screw together.

So, if you did beading when it was popular, or if you shop at dollar-type stores, you've seen the basic idea behind these -- small, cylindrical containers that can screw into each other, via threads on the top and threading on the bottom. I've had a number of them over the years, and they are fairly good for organizing (pills, sure, but often small screws, and I have one tube holding MicroSD cards), but, usually made of cheap plastic, and vulnerable to damage from being dropped or crushed. This item (Jekohor -Travel Pill Organizer-Weekly Medicine Pill Organizer, Large 7 Day Pill Container) takes that idea and updates it a bit. Instead of cheap, easily broken plastic, these are made of a light-weight metal. They are gasketed (which gives a better seal and makes them largely waterproof; just make sure you close them all the way), and etched with a day of the week on the outside of each cylinder. The 'top' is also metal, and has an attached carrying strap. They are a bit larger than the plastic ones, which is good, since I've got a lot of supplements, as well as my prescription pills. They can be a bit tricky to reconnect, since it's fairly fine threading, but a little practice and it's easy enough -- don't over-tighten them, tho -- you know they are tight enough when the days line up on the outside.

Okay this one is cute, effective, and does exactly what it says it will. Definitely true to the description & can fit a surprising amount of pills (I don't have a super high pill burden so see other review photos for how much crazy stuff can fit in here). The material is sturdy, and I think it will last for quite some time. It is kind of difficult to get the days to line up when you screw everything together, but that isn't the end of the world. I do with that it came with an extra top of some kind so if I just wanted to take one day with me oh the little lanyard that it wouldn't leave the day below it completely open... if that makes sense. But other than that I think it's a great design.

Nice metal and beautiful pinkish rose gold color, easy to unscrew and use, compartment size is ample and can fit plenty but doesnt take up a ton of space. Great for travel or to keep in purse
