My wife and I are very excited to receive this supplement. Just a few brands have included Ginger and Black Pepper to maximize the absorption and benefit of Turmeric Curcumin. Together Turmeric and Ginger have natural properties to help & support joints, stiffness, and discomfort, promoting overall joint health - Exactly what I'm facing now. Rich in antioxidants this supplement help in eliminating free radicals, supporting cell aging and the immune system. A great combination of Turmeric, Ginge, and Black Paper coming from a good producer. Love it.

It can be tough to review supplements as most take time to work, and they work differently for different people. So here I will speak to the perceived quality of the product and my experience in taking it. I found out about taking turmeric with pepper extract from the book "Built from Broken" by Scott H. Hogan. I do recall tumeric making the usual health media rounds some time back, but didn't pay it much mind. Now that I've had rotator cuff surgery and had to go through 12 weeks of therapy for my knees (and I am active and fit), I decided to educate myself on joint health and test out some recommended supplements. Turmeric happens to be one of those supplements. Okay, so, this product. I've used other Built by Nature supplements in the past and like their product, so I was comfortable giving these a shot. The capsules are what I would call 'common size' and, for me, do not go down easy. The problem isn't the size, but rather the capsule getting caught up in the lining of my throat and opening there. I do not blame this product for that as I have the same issue with all supplements that use this type of capsule. 120 capsules will get you 40 days of use for (at the time of this review) $20. This is the only reason I knocked the stars down. The other supplement I use is far cheaper for more doses, and is also a brand I trust.

I like to take a Turmeric supplement to help support my joints which are pretty achy these days and it also seems to help with my hip that I'm going to have replaced next month. So far I have not noticed any aftertaste or side effects with this brand which sometimes can happen. I'm very pleased that the safety seal was substantial and in good condition which I cannot say for all vitamin supplements that I have gotten over the years. The code date expires in three years which is plenty of time and the only thing that I didn't like was that it does not say where it was manufactured anywhere on the bottle
