Uni Alpha-Gel Shaker Mechanical Pencil - Black/Soft Grip 0.5mm (M5617GG1P.24)...

I love these pencils, they are shaped like a pen but in reality is a pencil, you can either click on the top of the pen for led or you can shake the pencil and the led will come out! these pen-cils are high quality so it can last a while, just be careful to not drop it because I broke a couple of these by dropping it. other than that, it is definitely worth every penny

I lost my old one which I owned for about 10 years so I re-purchased this one.

Ive bought this pencil before and have loved using it. I got this for someone as a gift and they loved it too! They have a more unique way of writing and they have said its great and very comfortable for longer durations of writing. Although pricier than your average mechanical pencil, I think its worth it for your hands and wrist in the long run.

I've been using these alpha gel pencils for almost ten years already! They're great quality and super comfortable to use (they're a bit wide for some people but I personally like that). They do occasionally get clogged up with lead but it's an easy fix to unscrew the front bit off and poke out anything stuck in there. I've only ever had to replace these when the silicone grip gets too squishy after a couple years.

Mechanical pencils are always on my desk and several have proven to be excellent companions. Not so the Uni Alpha-Gel Shaker Mechanical Pencil. The form is good and the gel grip quite comfortable to use. Even the balance worked well for me. However, the shaker mechanism stopped functioning after two weeks and little use. There is no way to advance the lead now. What a disappointment. One year later and I found the pencil at the bottom of a drawer. After a few clicks and attempts to extend the lead, the Uni Alpha-Shaker decided to become a working member of the crew. Pressing the cap button several times seems to have been the key to getting it to function properly. Yea! Another six months have gone by and I had to purchase a second Alpha-Gel. It doesn't get any better than that.
