Uni Lead Holder Pencil, Holder, 2.0mm, 3H (MH5003H)...

It doesnt feel very quality of your gonna get a good/okay lead holder get a pacific arc one those feel heavy and better quality

Love this pencil. Lead is very sturdy and break resistant. Body holds lead firmly with zero slippage or wobble. Great for professional use!

I use 2mm leads for geologic field mapping and technical drafting. These have worked great in all kinds of conditions on Write-In-The-Rain paper, and 2H is great for keeping smudging down even with my heavy hand. Highly recommended and I definitely plan to keep using this brand.

Excellent Mechs for a fantastic price. I ordered both the universal and red versions, both quickly grew on me. That said, their graphite isn't the best - you'll want to swap it out for something nicer like a Steadtler refill. Speaking of Steadtler, these also fit perfectly into the Steadtler 502 manual pencil sharpener. Will likely add more of these to my collection!

This is a great example of a classic clutch Mech. And anybody that knows anything about Mechs also knows that this design is and always will be the best (Go To) form when you need to mix comfort, grip, and simplicity, in a streamlined pencil. Now I have read a couple reviews on this mech that feels it fell short of what they were expecting. First off, this mech only falls short if you were expecting it to actually draw for you. Or was you expecting it to cook you a dinner? Listen, this is a fine pencil. If you have issues with it, then you really need to work on your own skills. I would definitely place this mech in par with the Koh-I-Noor Rapid-O-Matic line of Mechs, and would make a great partner piece for that set. The Uni Mitsubishi brand pencils have always been a champion in the ring. This 2.0 Uni feels great in the hand. It has a very nice metal grip. Yes, the body is plastic, but this isnt a cheap plastic here. This is a nice plastic that will last for decades. The clip feels firm/sturdy for those that care about that, though I feel thats a futile point. The metal clutch feels very strong and I havent noticed any lead slipping while adding excessive vertical pressure. You would break the lead before the clutch grip would fail. Anybody adding that much pressure should really think about buying more B scale leads and dropping those H scales in a drawer some place. Now, you should always choose a pencil that best suits your needs and feels more comfortable in your hand. Everybody will have a personal preference when it comes to what feels better. But this mech is the all around best design in general. Plus its made by a premium brand name that I feel never fails me. And this pencil isnt very expensive when you compare the prices on a lot of the best Mechs on the market. Most of the greatest mechanical pencils will run you 10 to 50 dollars. Some very good ones even being priced as low as 6 or 7 dollars. So would I suggest this pencil to other buyers? Definitely. Is there cheaper options that is as good? Yes, there is cheaper pencils that will work fine, but you need to make sure the cheaper mech you buy, isnt one of the bad ones. This is where finding a brand that you can trust comes into play. And I know that (UNI Mitsubishi) pencils has been a trusted name for years. I hope this review helps you with finding the right mech for you personally, even if it isnt this specific pencil here.
