It has lights!

My girls all love unicorns, so I decided to order this to add to their ever growing collection of toys. I do feel the price is a bit high for this toy as it's on the smaller side and doesn't have any accessories but then again, it's the rider, unicorn, and it lights up, so maybe it is worth it. The toy is well made and my daughters are obsessed with the light feature. Overall, if you're comfortable with the price, $19.99, I definitely recommend this.

Small figure that my daughter liked

My daughter has been on a horse kick here recently so when I saw this I figured I would pick it up for her. It came packaged just fine with no defects that I could see. We have the larger one of these two but we like this more because the horse's front legs are articulated. After my daughter opened it up she was having horse races with her other horses. The person is a bit hard to get to stay on the horse but she usually plays with them separately. All in all, this is a nice set of horse and rider and my daughter likes it.

Straight from the show

Unicorns are a fan favorite in our house, and we have just recently started watching Unicorn Academy. The characters and unicorns in the show are very magical and whimsical, and this toy does a great job conveying that feeling. The tail and mane are very long with a lovely rainbow pattern. There is also a light projector that displays sparkles which feels like a little bit of magic while playing. The colors are vibrant, and the figure design is detailed with nicely smoothed edges. This toy has been a hit in our house.

On the smaller side

This was surprisenly way smaller than I was expecting. This was my fault for not looking at the dimensions. Other than that it is a really cute toy. My girls just recently became obsessed with Unicorn Academy and are so excited that they have toys made from the show.

Very cool toy for our daughter

She's still 2, so I'm saving this for her next birthday because of the small parts warning. Maybe by then she'll be introduced to the show, but either way, I know she'll love this. She loves anything to do with animals, with a particular affinity for horses and horse-like creatures. The fact that it has rainbow lights and accessories, plus a cool rider will make it a really fun and exciting toy for her to receive on her third birthday.
