Replacement for my faulty one

I have a Hyper X cloud II and it started turning my volume all the way down at random. In the middle of a game or call. The company was asking for like $70 to replace it. Luckily I found this cheaper alternative and my headset sounds as clear as the day I bought it now. I wonder how many people threw out their headsets and thats all they needed.

Audio quality makes these barely usable.

These add so much static it's painful to use them.

The "virtual 7.1" output is cleaner, brighter and just more enjoyable than the sound from the OEM headphone jack. Powered external speakers through this device sound awesome. Well worth the small price for a major audio upgrade.

Works like a charm

I'm using this to plug an headset into a laptop and have decent volume control. I do like that it helps extend the length of the cord AND allows me to turn volume up and down. I did not forsee that the voice volume (in addition to the convenient mute button) would sometimes cause issues. For the price I'm not going to complain much, but often when I first turn on the computer if I get into voice, I must turn up the voice volume or no one can hear me. I never had to do this with the other headsets I have and I don't have to do it on my desktop with discord so I believe it is the device. The sound quality is very nice and people have commented that I am very clear. So overall its a great little external sound connector for the price!

An effective solution for monitoring when no audio is on PC or it has conflicts.

I needed an economic workaround for auditioning sound samples on my R340 Poweredge server that had no sound card. I also was having regular issues with Audio driver conflicts on my Ryzen 5 PC workstation. This worked literally out of the box. Initially I thought it was cheap and weak by the lightness of components and high initial background noise when I connected my headphones. But that feeling changed when the audible noise dropped off and my Windows 10 PC quickly installed PnP Audio Device and worked immediately without need to logout or reboot the system. I absolutely love it now and showed it off to my neighbors as a marvel of modern technology. Later I will see if it will work with my different Audio editing and VSTi host software.
