To all us ladies, like myself, over 60, eyesight not what is used to be, post-cataract surgery: I have been reading tons and tons of reviews and searching forever, an ZeeBooth and elsewhere, for a good makeup mirror. And by good I mean the right magnification (do I get 1/10X, just 10X, 15X, higher X?), and bright enough. I have gone thru so many expensive ones and either the mirror was too small, the magnification was off, was not sturdy, not bright enough, the USB which wound up not working instead of simple batteries with I prefer, you name it. They all broke or I returned them for whatever reason. I was also buying the ones with the additional 1x side but then I realized I never used that side I only used the magnified side to put on makeup so I then narrowed down my search to just 10X. H O W E V E R although 10X is good, it is still enough magnification for detail work, like eyebrows. We are no longer in our 20s and 30s so the days of 5X and 7X mirrors are gone. I remembered reading this somewhere and decided to try it and it is the best most cost-effective makeup mirror decision I have ever made. Why buy a costly mirror (even anything over $30), if this way you get the best of both worlds. Buy a 10X and attach a 15X on top. So, the search for the perfect 10X mirror began and I found this one. WOW -- the best! Sort of reminded me of those foldaway mirrors we would see on TV. Not expensive, very bright, even different light settings, and runs on 3-AA batteries. Those USB ports would always get damaged so for me, batteries are fine, and great size to travel with. I always bought those expensive standup chrome mirrors and never thought to buy these suction cups ones, which is far less expensive, and you do not even have to use the suction part if you dont want to. I just stand it up in my vanity area and its fine (see first pic). Best is it is square and not round like all the others. **** AND this is the most important part **** I bought a 6 round 15x mirror with suction that I just attach it onto the lighted 10X mirror when I do eyebrow work (see 2nd pic). I do feel anything over 15X would be too much as even the 15x made me a bit dizzy but that was my fault, because I tried to do too much for too long in one sitting (eyebrow plucking AND makeup application). Just use the 10x for daily makeup and only use the15x for when you need to do closeup work now and then. So there have it -- years of wasting money on the wrong mirrors when the best option for me was to buy a cheaper one that works even better than the expensive ones and just attach more magnification onto it. I bought this mirror for my mom for Christmas and she LOVES it! The shipping was extremely fast and the mirror is super lightweight and can be suctioned to anything. This would be the perfect mirror for traveling. The magnifying is terrific and perfect for detailed makeup work or plucking. It is also so bright so you can see everything.

Perfect!- perfectly portable and perfect setup anywhere with strong suction. Extremely lightweight, which makes is perfectly portable. Fits nicely in overnight bag, easy setup on any bathroom counter, mirror adjustment up/down to get exact view you need, super bright lights and magnification makes eyebrow tweezing much easier than natural light with a regular mirror. Nice for putting on makeup as well, especially with eye makeup. Very pleased with this purchase- exactly what I needed and the price is right!
