We have an Oral B Professional electric toothbrush that came with a travel case holding two toothbrush heads. It was absolutely great until we got to about the 7th day of an 18-day vacation. We ran out of juice and had to switch to manual toothbrushes. Having this charger in our travel bag will make all the difference on future trips, especially since most motels offer USB charging ports now. We take along a 6-unit USB charger for those that don't. I found that it charges just as well as the standard charging base. I felt that it was a great purchase at less than $10.00 and would recommend it to anyone that travels and has a toothbrush that fits.

Misplaced the original base while I was cleaning so I decided to order this one. Of course I found my original the day this one came but I still used this one instead. Never hurts to have a back up. At first glance it looks basically the exact same as the original. It is significantly lighter in weight but looks wide pretty much identical. I believe the little nub that goes into the toothbrush may be slightly different or slightly larger. The tooth brush gets stuck a little. Not bad at all, easy to separate, but the combo of the light weight and clingy nub and the toothbrush brings the base with it if you try to pick it up with one hand. But it it does charge well. I will be using my original and putting this one away for the inevitable time I lose my original again. But it works great as a back up or replacement. I can't remember my toothbrush model number, its just an oral b that came with a base that looks just like this one.

It takes a whole day/at least 24 hours to fully charge my Oral-B Black Pro 1000. That might be expected given the charging is with a USB cable. A full recharge can last for four uses of toothbrush before the red light starts to flash. Detaching toothbrush from the charging base requires two hands. It's definitely lighter than the Braun factory charger. Other than these, I don't experience any noticeable differences/inconvenience. I have yet to use it in a different country with voltage other than 110V. Attached pictures to compare the size and look of the factory and replacement chargers.

This review is for the Mdforme USB Braun Oral B Electric Toothbrush Inductive Charger. The main advantage of this charger is that the plug is a USB A cable so that you won't need to be concerned with a step down transformer if you are traveling to a county with 220-240 V outlets. You will still need a converter but it is my understanding that the vast majority of USB A 1.x and 2.0 will automatically step down the current to 5V. FYI, I have traveled out of the country and fried my Braun Oral B charger by plugging it into a 240 V outlet. The charger has a 45 inch USB A cable and weighs only 1.8 oz. That's much lighter than the original 120V plug charger at 4.4 oz. This item does not come with a charging block but that's not a big deal because I have multiple other charging devices and blocks. To test it, I completely discharged the battery from my Braun Oral B Genius toothbrush and used this USB charger. It took 18 hrs to completely recharge the battery which is comparable to a 110 V charger. I will put this with my traveling items for my next trip out of the country.
