I received 5 wire dishwashing rags that I use to scrub the grates on the grill. I don't know that I agree with the description of non-scratching, as the whole point of using wire rags is to scratch off residue that you don't want there. I wouldn't use them in my non-stick pans, because I do expect some scratching. For some reason, even though it's pictured, I didn't expect the little penguin towel. But there it was, packaged with the 5 wire rags. Penguins are my favorite-- it's so cute and was a fun surprise bonus. This was a good buy.

I love this product; it is very easy to wash all dishes and it is a good quality product. I recommend it to anyone.

These are much thinner than I was expecting, not much more thick than Kraft paper. They're also not made of wire, as suggested in the description... more like a semi-rigid synthetic mesh material, I used one to scrub out a janky old frying pan I'd just about given up on, and I can't say they worked much better than a typical scouring pad. A bit harder on the hands, perhaps, because they're so thin. For some reason my order arrived with a "bonus" child's security "lovey", I'm not sure if it was implied that the fabric could be used as a buffer between the my hand and the mesh, but they weren't shaped the same and the lovey had a plush animal head. Strange.

My husband and son love maple sausage, but I do not love what it does to my pans. As non-stick as they are, there is still some residual sugar left stuck on them that a regular cloth takes forever to remove. These dish cloths remove the sticky mess easily and don't damage the finish. I am more than happy with these cloths and trust them with all my non-stick pans.

I ordered these dishrags with the idea to use them to clean the grates on my grill, as an alternative to the nylon pads I've been using. They have a metallic mesh structure that looks like the mesh in your kitchen vent hood grease filter, but are much softer to the touch - they're not wire but a flat metallic tape woven into the mesh pattern. These do a decent job of cleaning the grill grates (I used it after a once-over with the nylon), and got off more of the burnt-on food than the nylon pad did. There's nothing absorbent about these, they are simply 2 layers of mesh serged together around the edges, which I like since it's unlikely to promote mold by holding onto water, and you can pull the layers apart if something gets caught in-between. Rinsing them gets some of the dirt off of them, but not all, mine are stained with the grill char, but since I plan to continue using them for that purpose that's not an issue. My only worry is durability - the stitching on the outer edge is done with a thread that isn't highly resistant to abrasion and after one use is already ragged in a couple of areas. Since these are relatively soft I can continue to use them folded or scrunched up should they separate, but for something that is meant for scrubbing that should really be a sturdier thread or a different edge finish altogether. I haven't tried this on dishes or household pots and pans, though I think it would be great for stainless cookware. Don't even consider these for non-stick pans. The bonus penguin towel is cute, but no idea what I'll do with it. :)
