I try my hardest to keep my home as toxin and waste free as possible. This soap bar is a great replacement for harsh soaps that come in plastic bottles. I've been using this bar several times a day for weeks and have hardly made a dent in it. I do suggest getting a soap-saver sponge or soap dish. It works great with a bamboo natural fiber dish wand. I'll definitely be reordering in the future.

Great way to minimize waste

We are trying to be more sustainable and minimize waste and this dish soap has beca staple in my house. It smells nice and one bar lasts our family over a month. Nice lather and bubbles.

I really am committed to dish washing with a bar soap, and this bar is great. The ingredients are few and are the kind that help repel germs. I simply lay the bar in my wash basin, aim my water sprayer nozzle at it and let it rip. Then I top it off with water only. This soap is strong, washes many dishes. Please understand (and I've experienced this too, recently, with bar shampoo) the washing effect is DIFFERENT than liquid detergents, which we have all grown accustomed to. I recommend that you have a rinse basin to lay the washed dishes in, or just know that you may have to rinse a tiny bit longer than with say--Dawn. But your dishes will definitely be clean and sanitized. One small drawback is the scent. Since there are no essential oils or artificial fragrances in this soap, this scent is just the ingredients, in a soap formulation. It is not easy to ignore. Not quite the bathroom cleaner pine-sol smell, but in that spectrum. Slightly milder, too. But definitely THERE. I'm keeping it, and will continue to use it. It's not a dirty smell for sure, so I'm getting used to it.

Cleans dishes? Nope.

I'm giving up on any vegan soaps. Everything vegan soap leaves a disgusting film on whatever I wash. But this stuff takes the cake, and rubs it all over your other dishes. Its horrible. I can't say enough about how terrible this dish soap Is. It leaves a disgusting slimy film all over my sink and makes my dishcloth smell like vomit. I have to scrub everything ten times harder and then it's dull and dingy looking. All the rinsing in the world hasn't helped. It smelled good out of the package. But once it's wet, it smells like wet dog and vomit. So pleasant right? Save yourself the time and money and go find something else.
