I've been using this after meals and trying it out with particularly "difficult" food like popcorn after our movie nights. With only one exception of a popcorn kernel that was really lodged in there that I had to use traditional threaded floss for the water pick has had no issues removing all other food debris. The water does feel more comfortable on the gums than some of the threaded floss I've used. The handle is ergonomic and fits well in my hand (man's hand wear roughly size medium or large gloves).

I had to return the first one because it did not pump out any water. However, the replacement works great. There are two ways to fill it up with water, - by removing the water reservoir completely or through the side hole which is sealed pretty well with a washer when closed. There are different modes just as pictured in the product description. What is not exactly as in the pictures is the tube inside, - it is pictured as a tube with a spring around it but in reality it is different (pictures attached).

If you have ever used a water flosser before, you know how important they are. To me they are easier to use than standard floss and they seem to work better. If you are looking for a water flosser, this is a good choice. It has 4 settings, basically the strength of the pressure and pulse. It is recommended that you start with low. It also has 4 heads, but I usually use the standard tip which seems to get in between the teeth easiest. It is amazing how cleaner your teeth feel after using this. The only con about this unit, and many others on the market today, is that it doesn't come with it's own charging brick. Because this is a small unit, it uses a weaker charging brick than we are accustomed to. For example, if you use a fast charger that comes with your phone it will probably fit, but can easily ruin the unit. Make sure that you read the instructions and use a 5V charging brick as instructed. I do like that the charging port is on top and back of the unit instead of on the bottom so that it can be charged standing up rather than laying it on it's side. Overall, 5 stars..

Ok...I don't know why I even decided not to listen to the warnings. It says if you're a new user, use soft mode. I said to myself... I'm strong, I can do normal mode. Soft mode won't get this popcorn kernel out of my teeth... um... ok, so I turned it on and the motor ran and nothing happened. I blew in the tube and it didn't work and then sucked on the end where the nozzles go on and it worked. Maybe it was clogged. Once that was over, I put on a nozzle. Not one with the white tips because I didn't want it too forceful...well... I was in for a surprise. My gums are weak. They do bleed easily. They bleed when I brush my teeth and they bled for this, haha. I felt such power entering my mouth. The roof of my mouth, the gums. I panicked and sprayed it all over the place, haha. Finally turned it off and rinsed my mouth out, waited for the bleeding to stop and tried again on soft mode. Whew, no bleeding. I guess even if I'm strong, my gums aren't. Never have been...and I don't generally floss. I'm going to keep using this though... but on soft mode. I don't think I can handle normal mode ever. I'm also going to do it in the shower until I get used to it. I have to have my mouth open to spray between my teeth, but it splashes until I figure out the proper way to set my mouth so it won't. I'm an absolute noob, but guess what? The popcorn kernel I couldn't get out with all the digging I did.. it's gone. My shirt is wet, but it worked, haha. A+ 5 star. I'm going to have to get used to using these so I can do it wherever. I'm so happy I finally got my hands on one of these. I'll definitely floss more often now. I'm keeping it in my shower so I just floss every day like I'm supposed to. I'm way more inclined to do it when I just have to fill up a water tank and go for it. It has a few different attachments, but for now, I'm going to use just the 2 gentle ones. I'm happy with it. I'm really happy with it.

I was really excited to receive this item and review it as I have a bridge in the upper left of my mouth where food tends to get stuck. I opened the package and read the directions and put it all together as required. I filled up the reservoir and turned it on and it made a pumping noise but nothing was coming out. I thought it needed to be charged so I charged it for a few hours until it indicated it was fully charged. I then tried again and same thing. I went to read the reviews before posting my review and it looks like several others have had the same issue so buyer beware before purchasing this item. I am hopeful they just had a bad batch of pumps but this would be a big inconvenience for anyone purchasing this. Hopefully this review helped you make an informed decision!
