Hard to shuffle

Love the visual on these cards but they are extremely slippery and hard to shuffle and keep stacked on the table.

Great for the collection

I love this deck. I dont have any black cards and this fills that void in my collection. Theyre nice looking and feel great.It has great color and contrast to the black. Nice smooth slick surface that repels beer spilled on them. Cant keep the old guys from a party foil while playing cards. But it is a bonus for me when I'm taking their money.

Yes you need these Waterproof Cards!

My husband laughed when I ordered these, but now he sees the benefit. I play a lot of cards with grandkids, (slapjack,war etc) and cant tell you how many card sets I have are dirty from those dirty little fingers snacking while we play! I got these and they are truly amazing. First of all they are surprisingly VERY Pretty cards. They have an iridescence on the back of the cards where they are black and the gold / silver patterns showing the suits etc are also iridescent. My 8yr old grandson commented on how cool they looked. We have played with these numerous times already and they still look shiny and new. The cards feel a little different than typical deck and Shuffling them took some getting used too as they were a bit slippery. We plan on taking these cards on our outdoor or camping adventures as easy clean up is guaranteed. I think these cards will last a long, long time .

A better case would make these perfect

The case is made out of same plastic, but it's designed to fold. The problem when you fold it and unfold it too many times is that the plastic weakens and starts to tear. A thicker plastic case would make these amazing. The color/contrast of these is awesome. Better than other black playing cards I have. The gold/silver foil works well to reflect light and improve contrast.

Fun and unique design

My family enjoys playing card games. I wanted a set of cards that I could take camping without worrying about the effects of getting wet. These cards work well for that purpose. They are made completely out of plastic and are waterproof. The design of these cards is mesmerizing. The back has a fun patterned surface to it. The front uses gold and silver instead of red and black for the number and suit colors. Shuffling the cards does feel different because they are plastic, but it's easy to get used to. I enjoy these and think they look cool.
