My family started doing wax seals for fun during COVID and we have dozens of stamps and dozens of colors of wax that we melt in those little spoons over those little candles. And that's awesome for being artistic and inventive and passing an evening crafting together. But if you want to crank out ten or twenty or fifty envelops with a wax seal on each one, you don't want to wait for a handful of wax beads to melt EVERY TIME. You want these wax sticks in your hot glue gun. With the right size glue gun, you can crank out the right pool of wax for a wax seal in a couple of seconds, and put the seal down on it... it doesn't take too long for it to cool and set to the point where you can pick it up to use on the next item, and just that fast you can have your next pool / puddle of wax ready for your next stamp! It saves SO much time. We sometimes make a whole pile of seals on wax paper so we can have them ready for later, and we sometimes make them in-place on the paper/envelope. If we prep them to use later, then a blob of wax on the paper will easily affix the already-made seal in place. Well the same thing goes for this! You can seal the envelops real-time, or you can have a pile of seals that you made previously and then use the hot glue gun wax sticks to attach the seals assembly-line style! Either way, it's fast and easy. It's nice, but not necessary, to have an adjustable-temperature glue gun so you can fine-tune how melty the wax comes out.

The color is nice and the seals make a nice addition to Christmas or Valentine's Day cards or little gift packages.

The listing states both "bronze" and "antique gold", and I'd say the latter is a more accurate representation of the color of the wax. That said, I strongly prefer antique gold like this for wax seals over bright gold. The darker color translates better in the stamp detail and seeing the metallic swirl in the poured wax. This wax performed great, even with a stamp that had a ton of fine lines and detail. None of the design was lost. I'd highly recommend this wax and this color for anyone looking to use gold wax in their seals.

I have to say that these are so fun & easy to use. I made candles this yr for Xmas gifts & would have been in such a bind had I not gotten these sealing waxes. Theyre technically not made for candles, but in small amounts are perfect coloring your candles with a nice metallic & pearlescent colors. The price is okay, but know other brands will send you a 20pack for about the same price & for the same kinda wax. My personal fav feature is how much body it gave to my soy wax candles, because soy wax is very soft & burns at 200f, which is fairly hot. This color is a great base for bright hues or as accent to brighter any piece.

My daughter like to make her own cards and seal them with a wax seal. This item worked well in the low temp glue gun we have for this purpose. It melted and set well and the color (bronze) was just what we were looking for to give an antique feel. 20pcs will last quite a while. We will use them on xmas cards that we send out to give it extra pizzaz.
