WDKK Waterproof Color Chart Warm Card Kit with Premium Lanyard...

It probably works great on land, but after a couple of tries underwater we gave up on this. It's just to big and bulky for convenient underwater photography use.

I bought this hoping to use it for color correction in Final Cut Pro, expecting the color swatches to align with the Vector chart targets, but it doesn't seem to align. The Blue standard doesn't even show up as blue because it's so dark. Might be fine for photo use or with specific software, but I can't get it to work for me in FCP using the standard color tools.

first off, the software / script that purportedly is available on the company's website isn't, and if you email them about it they will tell you they couldn't get it to work properly. second, the print quality is mediocre. the dark blue square is a good bit more dull than it should be, at least on mine. the surface of this color target also tends to have glare. third, there's no good reference file out there for programs like dcamprof, and the weird shaped neutral spots on this make it a bit difficult to create a target recognition file by hand for argyll to scan in the target Update: I came into posession of another one of these things. It is apparent that there is no consistency in the color printing of these. On one card the neutral patches have a cool tint when compared to the other. The one with cooler tinted neutral patches also seems to have lighter color patches with the exception of magenta, which appears darker. I attached a photo to illustrate this. It's not a perfect photo due to the glare, which is another problem with these things -- the surface is not perfectly matte so it has significant glare -- , but it should make it clear that there is color variation between printings. Not that it matters anyway, since there's no official color reference values for the WDKK specifically.

I'm not sure how you can give this one star. It's a waterproof color/gray card that seems accurate and sized for easy carry. Big enough, not too small. The "paper" case is useless, chuck it out. If it had something resembling a real case and stand I'd give it a perfect score. Will fit in my camera backpack or bag easily. Someone said the price was exorbitant; I just don't see it that way since this should last several years easily as long as it's in a sleeve or covered (mine rides in an acetate sleeve.)
