Let me start by saying that these pads are a prayer answered for foot pain; but I do not use them as they were intended. The pads are advertised to be used on the ball of your foot, however I found that they work just as well when used on the heel of your foot to ease the pain of Plantar Fasciitis. The instructions suggest attaching the sticky side of the pad to the bottom of your foot; but again, I use them a little differently. Instead of gluing to my foot, I place the sticky side down and press it onto the inside sole of the shoe, near the heel in my case. In this way, I can reuse them for a very long time and they do not need to be disposed of once the stickiness fails due to foot moisture. Also, by using them in this manner, I can pad 10 pairs of shoes with the 20 pads and they will last a long time. This makes them very inexpensive to use. When used in this way, the pads are very comfortable and provide a lot of pain relief.. They are especially effective when used with shoes that have a hard instead of padded inner sole.

These pads made an immediate noticeable difference in some pain I was experiencing in the ball of my foot. They are easy to place and stay secured attached to either my foot or the insole of my shoes. I've mostly tried them stuck directly to my foot, and they stay in position all day and don't leave any sticky residue behind. I'm subtracting one star because the backing on the 3M adhesive is difficult to remove -- it's taken me several minutes to expose the adhesive on a single pad. That said, these are still worth a try if you're experiencing foot pain.

I went to a water park and needed to walk probably a mile or two with no shoes on so I wore one of these on my bad foot. The product claims were met and exceeded. I will say, make sure you ask a podiatrist or at least search the proper way to use these on your feet. The way it is pictured is not how my podiatrist told me to use them.

If you ever feel you been walking around all the time and not giving your feet ample time to rest, these foot pads go a long way to the road to recovery of giving your feet a break. The pads themselves are not anything special, but the design and cushion definitely reliefs some discomfort. Unlike other gel pads type items, these don't add too much height to your feet, so you should be able to comfortably wear this while in shoes too. These are easy to apply, and remove also. You can probably get a few uses out of it before disposing them to use another pair. A great item to use if you're feet are sore like mine!

I was interested in these pads because I periodically suffer from pain in the balls of my feet. This pain might be caused by athletic injuries or ill-fitting shoes I wore in the past. These are very easy to use: They're made of self-adhesive 1/4"-thick felt. Simply positioning them in the affected area does provide effective relief. Once I have them on, they're pretty much unnoticeable. I don't need to use these all the time, so having a 20-pack is great. Very good product: Recommended.
