A lot of the openings are flimsy because there's so much on each sheet and the plastic is thin. So if you put any pressure against an edge, you've messed up the whole thing.

Not exactly what I was expecting or thought they were - kinda flimsy not as solid as I wished they would be.

These thin reusable plastic stencils have a wide variety of boxes, flags, shapes, and grids. You can use them to track the weather, make a to do list, and other things, as dependent on your imagination and creativity. Most of the stencils need to be used in part, but a few of them can be applied to the whole page of a blank journal or notepad. To fully use the calendar or make the longest to do list, you may need to move the stencil and reposition it to add more lines or squares. Once you have found a layout that works for you, such as three boxes, heading, a flying bee, and a checklist, you can photocopy it before you use it to save time re-creating the layout. Some of the designs did not make intuitive sense to me, but they were fun to play with, and there are enough different designs that anyone should be able to find a way that they like to write down their notes or goals. These stencils work well with fine tip markers, mechanical pencil, or fineliner pens. Many of the stencil openings are too small to use with a regular size marker or highlighter. These would make a good gift for a teacher, craft leader, or any person who prefers to spend more time making to do lists than doing the things on the list. These would be great for anyone with a New Years resolution to be more creative or more organized.

The variety of stencils is nice, although some don't make much sense, like the 12 monthly stencils that have the same spaces for days layout - four and a half lines of seven squares for the days. Well, not all months end on Tuesday, they should have continued the line and at least have five rows of seven. It is mildly annoying. The size is just about right for A5 journal, but the lines do not align with 5mm dot grid as promised. I think they simply resized the stencils from another size, without thinking to adjust the lines The stencils are made of thin plastic. They are ok to use with soft felt pen or highlighter or something that does not require pressure to apply. If you apply any pressure sideways while using them, the sides of the stencil buckle and you get crooked lines.
