What A Noisy World! - Sounds of Jungle - Sound Books for Toddlers - Musical Book with 6 Different Sounds...

This is a fun little sound book for toddlers. It varies from the standard sound book formula in that it never prompts the reader to push the buttons. It is somewhat implied, I suppose, but never made explicit, which I could see maybe being a difficulty for some children. The text and soundboard are basically two separate works jammed together rather than one cohesive whole. Other than that minor quibble, though, it is a relatively artless book but gets the "look! animals!" thing done. There is some interactive quizzing (very repetitive) about how many animals of the certain type are on the page. I guess it's more something you would just give to a child and hope they don't ask you to read than anything else. That's a valid niche! It makes mostly good animal noises! The snake is so low fidelity it just sounds like Real Audio static distortion but the rest of them are good. I don't not recommend it.

Extra thick pages with colorful animals and sounds to match. My 3 yr old grandson absolutely loved this book. I was so curious what sound the snake would make lol Now my grandson loves to imitate the monkey sounds !

The book itself is sturdy, fast delivery and well packaged. My complaint is that the only way you can hear the Hyena is after you select the Elephant, they are connected some how. The Elephant is the first button and the Hyena is the last, not sure if that has anything to do with it. All the other animals sounds are good although the snake sounds rather strange. Not so sure I would recommend the book, I am not sending it back as its not worth the hassle, but I am disappointed. NOTE: The Company reimbursed me for the book, I am very pleased with the customer service. I did not ask for a refund nor expect one, so thank you.

Well-illustrated fun book with fun sounds! Had no problems with the soundboard.

Got this for our 12 month old granddaughter. It's great when she starts slowing down and will come sit in the recliner with us. She loves the sounds of the animals, which are better than most, quite realistic. Can't spend enough time reading to the little minds. The more words they hear in the early development, the better. And in addition to helping turn the pages, she gets to press buttons. And as it always happens, as soon as she's finished, her 3 year old sister insists that she sit and read the book with us also ... and more button pressing!
