The bottom isnt attached so its a little annoying if you pick up the bowl to fill it

So, I have a blind senior cat, and a rescue kitten. Both need wet food, and both are horribly messy and picky eaters. These bowls have been perfect. The bottom silicone is able to be removed for easy washing, and the bowls themselves are very well made and the perfect weight. Combined, the silicone stops the dish from sliding all over, and the low profile of the bowls mean their whiskers dont touch the bowl as they eat. That means they actually WILL eat, instead of knocking the bowl into the floor and eating from here. Scrubbing out dried cat food is very easy, I just use a dish sponge with a slightly abrasive side, and it comes right off.

Love the wide and shallow design for cats and it has a removeable silicone base to allow ease of cleaning. I use this for my outdoor cats and it's of very durable metal, I've noticed the raccoons can't tear it up!

Awesome to help keep one of my cats chins cleaner. He loves to gobble up food and lick the bowl clean. A lot less crumbs in his fur.

We had a really messy cat. She would bat her food out of the bowl and eat it from the floor. She would also constantly tip her water over or just play in the water so that it was constantly on the floor. We also tried one of those dishes that has the automatic water feature and she just knocked the bottle out of the holder....over and over. I didn't know anything about "whisker fatigue" but am no convinced that it was contributing to her behavior. All of the previous bowls were either deep or of smaller diameter. After getting these bowls, we have nearly zero mess with food or water. Even if she did want to "play" with her dishes, the non-skid bottoms of these bowls prevents her from moving them about. I guess we can keep her now....lol.
