I purchased an old worn out table at the thrift store. I sanded it a bit and used this polish on it. It restored the life in the piece. It's easy to use. I applied a generous amount to the wood and just rubbed it in well. There wasn't any real instructions so I just made sure to get it in the grains of the wood very well and leave it on. It doesn't have a strong odor. It smells very pleasant and mild. It didn't take much to restore the table with this. A little goes a long way, and it's a nice size container. I'm pleased.

I tried this polish on a weird wooden "fertility idol" figure that we inherited. It was all beat up, I guess from years of providing fertility? Applying this wax was easy. I used a lint-free cloth and a fairly small amount. The product description implies that there's a smell to the wax from the mineral spirits, but I didn't detect that. The only challenge with using the wax for this type of application is that it's hard to get into small areas of the figure. A spray polish, for example, would be able to get into all the little nooks. With the wax, I had to separately use a q-tip to get into small areas. The result was nice and shiny and clean. I'd recommend this polish mainly for flat surfaces though, as working with wax is inherently challenging for getting into nooks.

Overall, Im happy with this product. I used this on both finished and unfinished wooden furniture and the results on both were good. The finished furniture was left with a nice shiny finish to it. The unfinished furniture became slightly darker in color as it absorbed some of the polish and was left with non-shiny finish. Recommended as a general wood polish.

I'm reviewing ROCHIX 1890 Wood Beeswax Furniture Polish, 5.07 fl.oz/150ml. This beeswax wood polish worked beautifully to clean our wood furniture leaving a protective sheen on the wood surface that feels smooth to the touch. I applied it and polished with a soft cloth. There's no discernible scent. The wax is a dark yellow in color (see photo), but goes on so thin, that I didn't see any change in the color of our wood. If your wood is very pale in color you may want to do a spot test in an inconspicuous area. This polish has a soft wax consistency and comes in a tin jar with a lid that opens and closes smoothly. This wax is made by ROCHIX MUSICAL INSTRUMENT CO. so should also work on wooden musical instruments. I find $13.99 to be a reasonable price for this polish. As a side note, this ROCHIX 1890 Wood Beeswax Furniture Polish is made in China.

The beeswax comes in a small tin, but you get a good amount of beeswax inside, as you dont need to use a lot at a time. This is a soft butter-like consistency rather. After applying to the furnishing, the result is a much better looking piece of furniture.
