Fun little desk puzzle

I keep this on my office desk when I need a break or feel like fidgeting with something. All the wood pieces and the base are well finished and very smooth. The kids like playing with it, whether they are stacking the blocks by themselves or actually trying to solve the puzzle. Its a very cute well made puzzle. Doesnt take up a lot of space at all. If you like puzzles I highly recommend this one.

Challenging Brain Teaser

What can I say? I'm kind of a nerd with a touch of ADD and I enjoy fidgeting with things like this when I'm sitting at my desk. It's small enough it doesn't take up much space and it's more challenging than a fidget spinner. I enjoy it!

Great brain teaser

The only problem with the product was that I thought it would be bigger. The puzzle is fun, though.

Nice wooden pieces, attractive stand - but just wasn't for me

This is exactly as described - it is 54 L shaped pieces of wood that you assemble into a cube. There is a wooden holder for the cube. The holder also has corner cut off - which does make it more attractive. Note that the final 3 pictures that were with the Puzzle Cube at the time of this writing were not of this puzzle. (The pieces in that puzzle is a T shape - not an L shape.) The pieces for the puzzle I received were L shaped. I didn't really enjoy the puzzle that much. I was able to solve it eventually after taking it apart, but I found the L shape didn't make the puzzle hold together very well, and I knocked over pieces repeatedly. It is challenging and does make you think, but I just would have liked a bigger variety of pieces or at least ones that make the resulting structure hold together better. (Maybe the T shape would have been better.) I'm only taking off one star - because my inability to imagine the challenges with only an L shape is my fault - not the makers of the puzzle. The materials were good quality. If I were to suggest improvements (aside from shapes that hold together better) it would be to include some sample target patterns. Half the L shapes are black and half natural wood color - so you could strive to get certain patterns.

Deceptive pictures, unstable build

However, multiple pictures in the product listing show T shaped pieces. I guess it's my fault for not reading the product description properly, but I expected a puzzle with multiple shapes. As for the puzzle I did get, it's fun-ish. It's relatively difficult to solve, and I will be fiddling with it for a while. However, the pieces aren't very stable. I am constantly bumping pieces that I had in place and knocking them off, which just forces me to rebuild it. It would be better if the pieces had some sort of texture so they'd stay together, especially since the puzzle overall is pretty small. One other thing I would have appreciated would have been a storage bag. If you can't solve the puzzle, you can't get it back into the box. And if you can't get it into the box, it will be very easy to lose some pieces.
