This is a great puzzle for people who find regular puzzles too simple or straightforward. My husband and I routinely polish off a 1,000 piece puzzle in about 4 hours flat. This one was another story. The nontraditional shape of the puzzle means it's no simple task to start from the edge and work inward as usual. We had to start from the inside and work our way out. Intriguing, original, and fun! We loved the challenge, and if you love puzzles, you will too. Older children and adults can enjoy this style.
Ordered this for a friend whod seen it somewhere. She had the first one all put together and realized one piece was missing. So she undid it and we sent it back. I have not used this puzzle yet, but I got the Phoenix puzzle. And I love it. My children and I along with my husband usually do these puzzles on a snow day or a lazy weekend. I cant wait the colors are vibrant and they also have cool Pieces like flowers, moons, stars, birds, etc. and its good thick quality it is not cheap cardboard. It is actually wood. The border to my other puzzle by the same maker was a little different just because its not a typical square but thats all the fun of puzzle is putting it together. This New York girl totally approves this product and would recommend.
I gave this puzzle to my best friend and her husband who love doing puzzles. She loved the puzzle so much that she is planning in getting it framed.
