I purchased these pens, because I was looking for something other than bamboo pens to engrave with my laser. These looked very nice online, but they were not any reviews so I took a chance. These engrave very well. I just wish I could pick to have only the lighter colors as the darker woodcolors will engrave, but will need to have lighter paint or marking to fill the engraving so that it can be seen. They have a good weight to them and I love that they are not a typical ballpoint pen with a click on and off. They will make a nice gift, especially once engraved.
