I had seen these for a while and was always curious. They are amazing. Essentially hey are thin dense sponges with different textures on each side. A dot of soap on it and they can clean anything. I had recently fried some sausages on my ceramic stove top and man was it a mess. A bit of soap and these dishcloths and it was clean! They do not leave a fully dry countertop, so if you may want to follow up with a microfiber wipe to dry, but these dishcloths do all the hard work.

I am hooked on these Swedish dish cloths, as they work really well to absorb moisture, dry out quickly, and are quite durable compared to paper towels, or those blue microfiber semi disposable sheets. I also like this material better than some of the new foam type towels that also absorb really well, but when they dry, they look quite curled up potato chips that you dont have to get wet and squeeze out the water before you can use it again. I think these Swedish dish cloths are a really good compromise as they have the benefits of a quick drying towel, remain soft and flexible when dry, and they are super absorbent. 10 pack is less than $20, and it will last a very long time even with consistent daily use around the kitchen and laundry room. The bright colors were also a nice addition.

Prior to having these, I would use a sponge to clean my kitchen and wash dishes. I've found this to be a little more handy. Washing dishes and wiping counters is a breeze, I don't have to continually rinse and squeeze to get all the soap out like I would my sponge, and there is some scrubbing capability as well. I recently made a mess in my living room (tripped and spilled a plate of food AND a drink). Normally I would have reached for a roll of paper towels, but instead I grabbed one of these and was able to easily clean up some of the mess (the rest was a job for a handheld steam cleaner). I can see these saving me some money in the long run because I use a paper towel for almost everything. Not sure how long they'll last, but so far they seem pretty durable.
