The chain looks pretty and shiny, but it is very small chain, and the whole length of chain is very lightweight in my hand. It makes it seem like the hearts are plastic, even though maybe they are metal? I will not use it to make any of my higher quality jewelry. I will probably end up letting the children in the family use it.

This chain caught my eye and when I received it, It's really pretty and I like the heart charms along the chain, but it really does not feel like good quality like some of my other chains. This will work for some of my cheaper jewelry I can make, but this not the best.

I really liked the looks of this chain in the description images. I just had to have it. I got it today and was thrilled with its beauty. I test all jewelry chains, charms, clasps, etc for authenticity confirmation, sizes, number of pieces, and other things the description claims. Even really pretty chains like this one. However, I rarely actually count the full length of a chain. What I do is check about three feet of it and if I do not find any flaws I accept the rest is ok. Well, I found 4 parts that had flaws. The first one was 15inches from the end, the rhinestone and sequin were missing. 5 inches further on of the sequin was missing. Another 31 inches and another sequin was missing. By this time I decided to check the whole chain. At 7feet 8.5 inches a rhinestone was missing. Fortunately, the rest of the 17feet of chain was ok. The other thing I found out is the brass part of the chain has some sort of sediment or whatever it was as it left a smell on my fingers. I know it was brass as it smelled like my trumpet in high school. I am going to have to find a way to put some sort of coating on the chain before I can use it. I still like the chain and hope I can use it in the future.
