For an everyday pen, these rock. I prefer using blue ink in my workday and since I work for a non-profit and need a better pen for my arthritic hand, these really do the job. Plus, the ink does not smear. This is important because Pilot G2 blue pens fo smear. And pilot is more expensive. You definitely want these pens. The ink flow is smooth, the color blue is vibrant, and they're just an all around great quality pen. Plus, 24 pens for $9.99 makes it incredibly affordable. I highly recommend.

These pens are amazing! Easy to hold. They are such quality! I got the 18 pack. They write so effortlessly and have many colors to choose from. The price is so reasonable, that I came back and got 24 more! The ink is so smooth, even nicer than much more expensive pens. The medium point gives a rich, vibrant saturated color. I haven't noticed any bleeding of the ink. Everyone needs to know that there are tiny round shaped pieces of plastic that are on the tips of your new pens. Just remove them and you are ready to write. Very comfortable in your hands. I'm so happy to have these pens (blue & black). I haven't had pens like these in a long time. I hate those cheap BIC made disposable pens. Theyre thin, flimsy, have caps that have clips that bend or break, and theyre not smooth writing. . These Zebras are AWESOME and you get a lot of functionalities and details. . The pen is thicker, so easier to hold and write with for longer periods. . Theres a rubber grip where you hold the pen for comfort and non-slippage. . The pen is retractable. No annoying caps to lose.and the spring is tight; the pen clicks in and out flawlessly; and the clicking mechanism feels taut and firm. Once it clicks to lock, youre good. . The finish on the pen body is flawless and smooth. No uneven plastic flaws. Its see-through, so you can easily tell if youre running out of ink. . The writing is smooth and it feels like the pen just glides. Ink flows out flawlessly and evenly. No roughness whatsoever. . The clip is metallic and built into the body of the one. Its not on cap which can break or bend. And no caps to lose here. . 24 pens at $8 on sale works out to slightly more than 33 cents each. These pens are easily worth more than a buck each. . Zebra is a Japanese company and they blow away all the other no-name brands. Other Japanese makers may be comparable in quality, but these pens are just great.

It can be sluggish to start writing, the ink flow may be a bit temperamental sometimes, and the pen construction could use improvement. That being said, I still give the Zebra Z-Grip 4 stars mainly because less than $9 gets you 24 pens that write like much more expensive pens...and also feel like more expensive pens in the hand. I find the Z-Grip to be particularly comfortable to write with, and the ink is very smooth and vibrant for a budget pen. The metal pocket clip is also a nice touch at this price level. Like the Bic Round Stic, the Zebra Z-Grip is one of those humble workhorse pens that you'll find floating around restaurants, piled high in the supply cabinet at your office, or you may be using one to fill out paperwork at the doctor's office. However, I really like using the pen for my personal needs because it's so smooth and comfortable with boldly-colored ink. I recommend it, especially for people wanting a super-smooth pen at a super-reasonable price.
