Zebra Pen Zensations Drafix Technical Pencil, 0.3mm, Yellow Lead Grade Indicator, 1-Count...

I've owned this pencil for over a decade and don't even remember where I got it from (not ZeeBooth!) I have the .5 version. It's great and has lasted me a long time. There are more "ergonomic" pencils that have a softer grip but I've found the squishy grips usually get in my way when I'm trying to draw (which is what I've mainly used this pencil for), and they're usually too thick and bulky. I like that this is narrow all the way through like a regular pencil. The ribbed (grooved?) grip is all you really need and it works wonderfully. It's easy to hold and is light in my hand. My only complaint is that eraser cap wasn't magnetized and after losing it and retrieving it a million times it's finally lost forever. It holds the lead very well and I can use the dull and sharp sides of the lead which is good for drawing. And... I don't know it's pretty cheap? I know it's made of plastic but it's durable plastic. The only reason I came here was because I wanted to get one for my sister as part of her Christmas gift this year. I doubt I'll ever need a replacement unless I (knock on iron) lose it. It's so used that I could only see the DRAFIX logo and it was very faint. Googling got me here.

Nice thin lines are great for sketching and drawing. Would buy again :)

I'm usually a Zebra fan, but this pencil is absolute rubbish! The entire pencil is constructed of cheap plastic. The grip lines are circular around the pencil and are very slippery. I can't write more than two words without losing my grip and having the pencil slip between my fingers. This pencil sells around the $10 range. Do yourself a favor and buy the comparable Pentel P205 or the Staedtler 925 05. If you want to spend a few extra bucks and treat yourself, get the Staedtler [****] or Rotring 600.
