Works but may be best on non-melty fabric.

I bought this for a purpose for which I usually use fusible interfacing, which melts, I think, at a lower temperature. The instructions on this involve cutting the adhesive film FIRST, then applying it - which means if you were going to use it to thicken up a project before tracing a pattern or figuring out a shape - it could get tricky. Also it says to put your iron on the hottest setting. I absolutely HAD to use a press cloth for this, since my fabric was a spandex with glitter and applying the iron directly to it melted the fabric! The demo case explained on the package is a patch - like a heavy duty applique - being put on a Tshirt - 2 thick fabrics that will withstand a lot of heat. It would be great for that. For making spandex stick to buckram... not so great. But it'll work. I'm honestly boggled on how you'd use this to set a hem....

So easy

My kids are so hard on clothing that I tend to just patch up as much as possible to just make it through the year. But I like to make it look fun not like it is covering holes and worn out. These are perfect because not only can I design my own patches but can also make it as big or as small as I want. They are actually pretty durable and so easy to use. They work great and mostly stick perfectly. I did notice the edges not sticking as well as I had hoped for but hasn't seem to peel off any more than the slight edges. The value I get not having to buy more clothes for awhile definitely helps out. Great product and so fun to design.

Hard to use. But it works

Since neither side Is adhesive, its tricky to cut the shape you need and get it to stay in place while you iron it on. I used it for patches. I got it to work with some difficultly. Adhesion seems decent.

Its nice and thin but holds strong. I use it for appliqu/patches.

Worked well for fabric repair

I tried to use this to fix a vintage garment. It didnt work for that purpose but I can see a use for it. It was easy to use. Not too expensive. Appears to be durable with a strong adhesion.
