Quality spirulina

I received this item for free from Vine. My partner uses spirulina daily in his coffee and he wasnt too happy with this when he found out it had blueberry flavoring. It did not taste well with his coffee. So now he mixes it in his yogurt or in juice. The blueberry flavoring isnt bad per se, but he doesnt want flavored spirulina. He says it works just as well as the other brands weve had so the quality is there and its a decent price. But we wont be ordering this again due to it being sweetened with stevia (we try to avoid most added sweeteners) and that it has blueberry flavoring.

Tastes good but doesn't desolve very well. Haven't found the trick yet to get rid of clumps

This Zhou Nutrition USDA Organic Blue Spirulina Powder is super easy to add to my morning smoothie. The blueberry flavor is rich and strong, although I don't taste it much because I add almond milk with fresh and frozen fruit. I like the high-quality ingredients in this powder. I'd recommend it!

Good for You AND Tastes Good

This is a nice powder with some great ingredients. It does take a little mixing to get all of the powder incorporated into the liquid, but nothing too bad. The taste is good and I like that it has some sweetness without sugar in the ingredients list. It is sweetened with stevia which I dont mind, but I know some people dont care for it. I am especially excited about the mood aspect of this because it can be easy during the winter months to feel a little down without the daily sunshine. I like that it came with a scoop so I know how much a serving is. And with 25 servings this lasts almost a month. Nice!

Great supplement, that is a wonderful price!

I am always a bit concerned about flavor when it comes to powdered supplements but this one was not too bad. I am comparing this to others I have used, some so awful they can not be ingested, and some so tasty it's suspicious. I think this lies in the middle. I really dislike Stevia leaf extract flavor, so to include this ingredient and still be palatable is an accomplishment for this company in my mind. It definitely doesn't mix easily with cold water or juice. I have a water dispenser that has a hot water option, so I use a little hot water to dilute the powder and then add more water or OJ. Hopefully this doesn't weaken the strength of the supplement. I like the included little scoop; cute! And I do think this is an affordable way to get the benefits of Spirulina, Acacia and Ashwagandha root as well as blueberries. Especially if you have trouble taking pills. Overall I think this is excellent for the price, a lovely combination of goodness without having too many vitamins or minerals (a problem I have with most supplements). I would order again in the future and I am interested to see what other products Zhou nutrition has available.
