No difficulties installing. No corrosion noted over a couple months

Ill use these in construction of larger fence gates. Twenty-two (22) each typographical error of packs noted. Material is attracted by a magnet. See photos for size comparison to U.S. Quarter Dollar (and dial caliper measurement of .862 on total length). Interior U-bolt opening width of .20 inches will be perfect to secure an end loop using 1/8-inch diameter wire rope. Noted that cable clips (clamps) only secure the end loops tightening the overall run of wire rope is accomplished via some other means (example of using additional hardware such as a separate turnbuckle). Make sure that you install the saddle (or base part of the clip) on top of the long side (live end) of the cable not on the shortened turn-back or cut-off portion (dead end) which is the side where the loop of the u-bolt should be placed. The old adage Never saddle a dead horse will help you remember proper positioning. Consult reference specifications to confirm your particular application, but within structural limitation of 1/8 wire rope, these cable clips (assuming youve properly assembled them) should have no problems doing their job. Im hoping these clamps will work for my 100 stainless steel wire rope project. This is my second attempt. The first SS u bolt clamps were way too big. I wish the threads continued a bit farther up the legs of the u bolt. Then Id have confidence these will work. I know that doubling the wire will add thickness and so these might be perfect for my application. So Ill have to seeand get back to you. The quality is quite excellent though, with smooth surfaces throughout and rounded edges, which I like a lot. The threads and corresponding nuts all work very well. Very user-friendly. Not sure, but I may need to add some tiny lock washers so the nuts wont loosen. Im excited to get that project done now that I have these clamps.
