The weed pulling tool that looks like a little rake, does a really job in helping to clear weeds in flower beds. However, if you have stubborn weeds with embedded roots, you will need to use your hands to yank them up because with this tool, only the foliage will pull up. The crack weeder is helpful for loosening hard to pull weeds in sidewalk cracks, but sometimes the roots remain in the crack. The tools are very sturdy and well made. While I find these tools helpful and I anticipate using them at times, for me, they are not anything to write home to Mom about! Perhaps they work better for people with less stubborn weeds.

I've seen a lot of these new weed pulling tools in the last few years and wanted to give them a try in my ongoing dandelion war efforts. The pronged tool works well for the large dandelions that are wide with shallow roots, it will pop them out quick and easy. I deducted one star because it doesn't really work on smaller ones or ones with deep roots, trying to pull them out just ends up ripping the leaves off and leaving the stem, or for the small ones it just can't grab them at all and just feels like I am combing the leaves. The hooked tool is very good for removing weeds that grow in hard to get places like the seams of the concrete in my driveway. It's what I use that for. Overall these tools are fairly specific for what weeds they will actually pull, they must be large enough that the prongs will get a grip and not have roots that are too deep. The L shaped blade is good for removing weeds in tight places you can't get another tool in. The wood handles are comfortable enough for short term use, but will likely cause blisters with prolonged use Wearing cushioned gloves if using for a long time is recommended.

Good size weed pullers and quality materials! The manganese steel is strong and the connection to the smooth wooden handles is well made and seems very sturdy. I especially like the toothed weed puller for working in potted plants and raised garden beds, pulling the weeds and loosening soil. It is a good size for areas between plants too. The crevice weed and root puller device is the right size for many area uses.

This is a convenient addition to any gardeners tool kit. The scraper tool works wonders around plant stems and to clear larger areas in raised beds. The crack/crevice tool works extremely well to dig out weeds and plants in between concrete pads or rocks - I also found it very effective for wide areas by laying it flat and using it to push and pull at the dirt surface. No gardener should be without comfortable and easy weeding equipment.

It's never a good feeling when you take a product out of it's bag and get a splinter. The handles are not well sanded and feel rough. The edge on the crack weeder is not very sharp. These just don't seem like tools that will last more than a season, if that. All in all these get a meh from me.
