Good washers very sturdy.

Basically the same as any old washer you'd get at a hardware store. Came in just a basic cardboard box. No frills. Perfect for me.

This review is for the 1-1/2" x 1/4" Fender Washer (Pack of 25) Option ($9.99 Price at the time): For folks in the US, these washers look exactly like what you get from Hillman at your local hardware store. They are made in China and I know that comes with some skepticism as to quality. My tests: * I immersed these in water and let them sit out for a day to verify that they don't rust (CHECK). * I used a rare earth magnet on these and they are barely magnetic. They have the magnetism that you would expect from 304 SS (CHECK). Measurements for 1-1/2" x 1/4" fender washer: Overall Diameter: 1-1/2" (CHECK) Hole Diameter: 5/16" (CHECK for 1/4" fastener) Thickness: 1/16" (CHECK) As I said, these seem exactly like what you get with Hillman. The stamped machining is pretty good. I can't feel an edge on the large circumference, but I can feel a solid stamping edge on the hole circumference. At $0.40 / washer (2023), I think the pricing is a little high compared to other options on ZeeBooth and I don't think there is a quality difference to justify the higher price. So, I'm knocking off a star for value.

My boyfriend works on his vehicles all the time and mentioned that he could use some 1/4" stainless-steel flat washers, so I ordered these HELIFOUNER, 100 Pieces. They arrived in a 3 3/8" X 3" clear plastic case that's pretty thin. It was taped on each side to reinforce during shipping, so they didn't fall out. The clasp is tiny (photo). They arrived just in time for him to use one with a stainless-steel bolt to securely fasten a new splash pan underneath our car. It's good that these 304 stainless-steel fasteners are corrosion resistant. The current price of $6.99 for 100 flat washers is a great deal for a common 1/4" size. Sure, 100 is a lot, but as long as he doesn't lose the plastic box, he'll always have a supply and can easily give some to friends who also need some. He said that just 1 washer at a Big Box store could cost 25 cents.

These washers are basic shop quality. They are die punched, having one "good" side, slightly convex with rounded edges, and a "bad" side that is slightly concave with sharper edges. They are mostly flat across the surfaces, but if you hold one against a precision straight edge, you will see that the outer edges of the "good" side are very slightly bend downwards. Unless you are doing precision machine work, this will have no practical effect in use. The "bad" side is smooth, flat, and has no lips or burrs at the edges. The metal is weak magnetic stainless. The thickness of the metal makes this a strong washer. The package contained exactly 100 washers. The inner diameter measurement is not 1/4". The ID is actually the smallest fraction just shy of 5/16" and, in my opinion, that's a big difference. I checked the box to see if the wrong sized washers were sent by mistake, but he label identifies these as 1/4". Notably, the outer measurement of 3/4" is correct and the thickness of the washer is correct. If you can work with the looser tolerance, these are very good washers at a very good price. If you need closer tolerances, then you might need something else. I'm still very happy with them.
