My husband and I are both very happy with this tape. We used it to seal up a leaking boat hatch (so adhered to fiberglass and a metal frame, plus vinyl), and this tape held until we pulled it off three months later. In those three months, this tape held up to changes in temperature, rain, wind, and all the other elements of the great outdoors. It does leave a residue, but the clean up is worth having tape that did its job. Overall, this is great tape that adheres well and holds. I would not hesitate to order more of this brand.

I used this to patch over a leaky spot on my RV roof. It's an old RV and up on top so I don't mind the cheap "duct tape" look up there. It passed first test of spraying water on it. We'll see how it holds up over time. I'll update if it fails.

Waterproof sealing tape should be something that everybody has in their home toolbox and their automobile; you never know when you must make an emergency repair. This waterproof sealing tape is essential if you get a leaky radiator hose or a pipe at home starts to leak and you cannot get a mechanic or plumber, or the proper parts to repair it. Something like this is invaluable, if you only need it once and it works it could save you hundreds or thousands of dollars for mechanical or water damage. I havent had any emergencies to use it on yet, but I would rather have it and not need it than not have it. It appears to be strong and sticky, and the roll is large enough to last for a while, it can be used on a wide variety of surfaces and used in extreme temperatures for extended periods. When you peel off the membrane the adhesive layer is thick and sticky and the aluminum outside should be strong enough to resist leaks and the elements it is exposed to. Knowing that I have this on hand if needed gives me peace of mind and is a great addition to my home toolkit.
