I purchased these hooks hoping they would be strong enough to hold my oven mitts on the side of the fridge without sliding down. They work perfectly, and I'm delighted with them! I put the extras on the back of my range hood and hung some of my larger cooking utensils from them (notably a ladle and a pasta scoop.) That freed up some much-needed room in my utensil drawer. If you're using them on a vertical surface, I do recommend using the included clear non-slip sticker. Just peel and stick it on the magnet, and your hooks won't slide down.

Very strong, work great for holding a basket on the side of the freezer. Don't accidentally get them stuck together. It's a pain to slide them apart again.

These are solid magnets that can hold far more weight than the usual refrigerator magnet. That said, do note that they are much bigger than the usual refrigerator magnet. The hooks are large, which is great for bulky items like oven mitts. I don't use them for the front of the fridge, but rather on the side for pot holders and small utensils. I also use them on the back of a countertop dishwasher which I keep on a cart -- they hold the hoses (quite a bit narrower than those of a standard dishwasher) when they aren't in use. They come with anti-slide silicone stickers for the back, which not only help the magnets stay in place, but also prevent them from scratching the surface on which they're placed. I like both their functionality and how they look. In fact, after trying them out, I ordered a second package.

Since we had our kitchen remodeled and got new appliances, we needed new places to hang our hand towel and dish towel. These magnetic hooks work well on the side of our refrigerator. That said, if you pull down on a towel, the magnet will slide, despite sticking well.
