very nice piece of measurement tool.

I bought this assuming it would have error and be kinda junky, because look at the price. Anyone with half a brain looks at the price and goes "yeah I mean it's gonna have some error and be wonky" but as long as you don't need PRECISION precision that's fine. So I took it out of its little case and MANHANDLED it. I mean slammed it back and forth over and over and over again to knock it out of alignment to see how much I'd have to account for the error this cheap piece of plastic and mystery metal would surely have. I even made a piece fall off. But for whatever reason it correctly returned to zero, over and over. So uh, I guess it just works correctly, and with all the measurements I've taken four or five times landing on the same number, it seems pretty accurate... Just kinda mystifying how something cheap can actually work correctly

I did not expect much from this purchase knowing you can spend much more for a quality digital caliper. Upon using upon receipt, found it quit easy to use and was accurate. Came with a protective case and extra battery. Does both inside and outside measurements in inches or milimeters. Would be an ideal gift for anyone that does anything that requires precise measurements.

Came with a plastic case, extra batteries and steel ruler. Seems to work as expected.
