This works great sharp and very sturdy

Not a pry bar

the knife is very good for what it is designed for but the blade is not very strong when prying grapefruit-sized rocks out of the ground with the flattened (concave) side of the blade. It snapped midway down the blade. I have hacked and chopped with the narrow, semi-sharpened edges and it can take considerable force in that direction. I will certainly buy another and carry a small pry bar in the future

Very sturdy and useful tool

This tool is very thick metal and stands up to hard use. I use it a lot for weeding, digging, etc.

Perfect for gopher hunting

The combination of blade, spade and saw are excellent for digging up gopher tunnels, for gas or flood. Can cut sod in a neat piece for easy replacement. Allows a much smaller disturbance to the area than a shovel, and much stronger than a hand spade. I bought a second one for my wife came that with a defective sheath (too narrow at the top) but the prompt replacement is fine.
