Used it to catch debris before a small water pump. Works great

I added this in the drain hose from my furnace condensate pump, before a new check valve. This prevents this diaphram check valve from hanging open from pump sludge, that has caused the built-in pump check valve to leak, causing short cycling due to backflow. Since the screen is so coarse, I put a wad of polyester craft stuffing inside the screen basket before lubing the bowl gasket and threads with silicone grease and screwing it on firmly. Just have to replace stuffing before heating season, along with air filter.

I bought this as an add on to my pull behind tank lawn sprayer. I cut it into the output line from the tank pump to the spray arms. It works well and does its job, but its a wire type filter and is NOT going to stop very small particles which is what I needed. It's perfect for my application and easy to clean. No issues.. I recommend this.

Too big in diameter for 3/8 AND too small in diameter for 1/2 inner diameter flexible tubing. Somewhere in between. Body leaks like crazy under no water pressure due to the cheap acrylic cup which warps as you screw it on and the misaligned threading. I bought the two pack. Both were the same.

when i first got it, nothing would go through it, i saw that whatever they used to drill the input and output holes didn't go all the way through. i just took my drill and completed the holes, once i did this the filter is working great. if this happened to you be careful not to drill too far through the wall separating the input and output. i will update this if there are any problems that cause it to no longer filter correctly.
