I have 3 100 W Harbor Freight solar panels which put out about 23 V in full sunlight (at least at the Pennsylvania latitude). As the day and season stretches out and the shadows lengthen, apparently those voltages drop. I had been using a "8-panel paralleling" device also from Harbor Freight, but frequently I would not get the full rating of my 3 panels. I think what might have happened is one panel's voltage drops a bit and the other 2 panels with higher voltage, reverse bias a protection diode in series with the panel, and that panel's current shuts off. So I thought if I connected the panels in series (so long as I don't exceed the 80V allowed by my camping inverter), then I'd get contribution from all panels, regardless of their output voltage. So I just used these cables to daisy-chain + from one panel to - of another, and the + and - of the string of panels was fed directly into my EcoFlow generator. Seems like I now get meaningful input over a longer portion of the day with contributions from all 3 panels at all times now while staying comfortably below 80V into the generator.

Easy to use. Works fine. Beware pin can be hot depending on how wired.

These are all wired so that the male terminal is connected to the red wire (positive). That right for the load side of the circuit but 100% wrong for the supply side. The male terminal should never be positive on the supply side. If it accidentally touches the metal chassis of the vehicle the fuse will be blown. These should be wired differently for supply (battery) side and load (lights) side. If you care about having your wiring correct and the wire colors right youll probably want to look for an alternative source. Very disappointed.

I took some pictures of what I received, including some close-ups that hopefully let you read the printing on the red cable. If you cannot read it, the printing on the red cables reads (as close as I can make out): FT1 SHENZHEN HONGGUANSHENG E465814 AWM 2468 14AWG VW-1 80C 300V AWM | A 80C 300V FT1 According to my tape measure, the cables are just under 12" long from tip to tip of the SAE connectors, which seems about right for 30cm (1in/2.54cm) = 11.81in so if anyone needs exactly 1 foot they'll find these just a bit too short (or at least the batch that I got). These cables look and feel nice and the bare wire ends are lightly tinned. They're pretty much ready to go for uses like the battery output of a small solar charge controller (up to ~200W) or the 'lights' output of any solar charge controller. The 14AWG should be able to handle up to 20Amps (with the 80C rated insulation). I appreciate the 4 pack size, since usually more pieces usually don't cost nearly as much as the first one or two, I'm going to guess that this 4 pack will tend to only cost about 50% more than a 1 or 2 pack. The 2 included polarity reversers/switchers are also a nice addition. I hope they will offer a version with thicker cables, like 12AWG or 10AWG, which will be better suited for higher current applications.
