When I first looked at the terminals, I was hesitant based upon some of the negative reviews. Considering that I wouldn't be out much if they didn't fit my application, I placed an order. Upon arrival, I observed that yes, they aren't as heavy duty as the Panduit brand I use in my day job, but they looked fine for my applications in amateur radio. Yesterday evening, I needed a fistful of terminals and grabbed these. First off, the wire I was using was a perfect fit for the terminal opening (I had doubled the wire over thinking I would need to do so-pleasantly surprised it fit fine!) Second, I probably used the wrong crimping device as it tore the insulation. But, this is MY issue, not the terminal's as I have other crimpers, probably better suited. Third, in spite of the crimper issue, the terminal did easily crimp onto the wire. Fourth, when I hit it with the heat gun, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is apparently a secondary adhesive in the heat-shrink tube! Bonus! I hope the adhesive flowing through the terminal may compensate for MY having torn the stink tube. No, they aren't the same quality as Panduit or the other Crimp/Solder/Shrink-Seal terminals I buy for home use, but they also don't cost more than a dollar apiece like those others do! BUT, YES, they are well worth what they cost and I am glad I bought them and will likely buy more from the same vendor in different sizes. It appears as though this vendor does not offer them in other sizes Update: I said I would update this review if I had further input. Using the correct crimpers makes ALL the difference in the world! I am beyond pleased now that I learned what I needed to do to get the complete benefit from theses connectors! One point of clarification that might help others have similar positive experiences-when stripping your wire, do not permit the wire to protrude from the crimp joint. If the wire protrudes, the shrink material and adhesive are unable to seal the connection from moisture ingress. In my case, I tin the wire first, if for no other reason than to prevent individual strands from not entering the crimp portion and it makes it easier to trim the wire. Insert into terminal, observe if the wire protrudes, trim if necessary and Bob is your uncle and my dad! If only this manufacturer/vendor sold them in different sizes and better yet, an assortment! Id be sure to buy more. When I run out, I hope these are still available!

I like these. Easy to crimp, easy to retrieve from the package, shrink tube works and has not failed me.
