Ideal for surface skimming. I have a lot of pine trees above my pool and birds that use it as a bird bath so this skimmer is great for filtering out the needles, bugs, and bird poop that collect on the edges and steps. The handle is long enough to use it without a handle. With pool skimmers, you need to be gentle with ones with seamslike this onebecause heavy usage can cause them to burst at the seams. Due to its shallowness, I would not recommend this to skim the bottom of your poolget a deeper and wider net instead.

I did not expect these to come without a pole!I would have gladly paid a little more to have a pole included with these. Serviceable nets if a bit small, do what they're supposed to do, but I ended up spending even more buying a pole to go with them, that also came with another net, so if I could have I would have skipped just the net part. Otherwise satisfied with them.

I already have a deep skimmer net for the pool but needed a shallower net for quick skimming off the pool. These worked perfectly. It attached to the pole easily. Good quality. Let's see how long they last but happy with them so far. I will update the review if anything changes.

We really like these skimmer nets. Although most skimmers only last a couple of seasons, with kids, constant contact with chlorinated water, etc. The quality of these are on par, anyone who has a pool understands. Great price for a 2 pack. We really like the deep pocket. Allows for more bugs and stuff to get scooped up in one pass and not having to worry about the debris floating away if you move the skimmer wrong. Can also be used for leaves and such. It has a bit of a scoop at the front so you can get stuff off the bottom. Although it is hard plastic, be careful when using it on the bottom of your pool, if you have a liner. Will purchase again if needed.

I'm really happy with this product. I got my daughter a ten foot wide pool for the backyard and even though I got a cover for it I have a cottonwood tree in the backyard so this time of year it's been making a mess of the pool. This skimmer glides well through the water and has just the perfect pocket depth to catch what I'm trying to scoop out. It's a durable plastic and it locked in tight to the pole that I already had. That's the only downside with this product is that you will need a pole so keep that in mind. What I really like about this product is it comes with two skimmer heads so once this one's worn out I got a backup. I'd say this product is priced just right for coming with two skimmer heads. Definitely a great product. I'd recommend it!
