Bought this to fix a leak in the garden hose. The hose is black and sits in the sun. After following instructions and wrapping the tape around the hose, holding pressure for several minutes, and then letting it get really hot for about 24hrs before I used the hose.. it immediately leaked. Not at the hole, but sprayed out from the end of the tape. I added more, following directions and the results were the same. I wont be purchasing this again.

I am a big fan of silicone tape and this tape seems to be the same quality of the stuff I get at the big box stores but cheaper. Silicone can be used for electrical tape for covering a worn or lightly frayed wire. It is self adhesive, and makes for great soft but grippy wraps for anything you need to be less slippery. For adding grips to poles, tools and such its great. I also recently used this to add some vibrations dampening to a compressor where then handle would lightly touch the handle making a loud tapping sound when it started up. This stuff is great to just have around the house when you need. If you are the DIY type or just fiddle with things when they break before sending off to repair, its worth the price to live in a drawer and know its there

OK, so this stuff is handyman's gold in my book. I use it all over my house and shop. I also take it with me whenever I go camping or boating since it is so versatile. Normally I have to buy this stuff at the hardware store for the ridiculously bloated retail price. With this Jokupey tape I can get almost twice as much product for the same price as one roll of the name brand...and it works exactly the same. I photographed a quick mend of an extension cord using about 5 (unstretched) of this silicone tape. Looks good, right? Me, happy, am! Five stars!
