I ordered this Plug In Electronic Flying Insect Trap to use in our kitchen. The plug in unit comes with fourteen UV light bulbs with three different settings, steady blue UV light, yellow night light and blue breathing UV light. The light attracts the insects and the sticky glue boards trap them. This is for trapping flies, gnats, moths and fruit flies. This set comes with the plug in UV light trap and five sticky glue boards. This is the perfect chemical free non-toxic way to remove insects from your home.

This was easy and simple to put together and plug in but the light is not bright enough to be efficient.

This Flying Insect Trap is very easy to use and effective. To use the trap you just peel the cover off a glue board, insert it into the light plug, plug it in and choose which light setting to use. I typically leave it set on the consistent blue uv light. The boards do seem sticky and catch gnats and small flying insects with no problem, though I'm not sure if it would handle large moths as we haven't had one land on the trap yet. My complaint about this light trap is that it takes up both outlets. I have similar insect traps from other brands that are equally effective, and they only take up one plug when in use. We don't have many electrical outlets in our home, so devoting both plugs on an outlet for this fly trap isn't very practical. Overall I think this is a reasonably effective insect trap. I like eliminating flies and gnats from the house without using toxic, smelly chemicals or unsightly fly papers, and I like that the light looks like a nightlight. I would increase my rating to 5 stars if the trap fit in the plug better so I could use the second plug.

2024 Upgraded 3 in 1 Flying Insect Trap with 3 Light Modes, Fruit fly Traps for Indoors I have to admit I was skeptical. I plugged it in 2 weeks ago in the living room because I was experiencing small gnats from my plants - not in droves, but enough to be annoying. The first few days I didn't notice a difference. But then I left for a few days and when I started to write this review I realized - I hadn't seen any gnats since I returned home! I checked the unit and sure enough, there were several carcasses (gross, right!) on the sticky side - which fortunately faces the wall! There certainly aren't that many on the board, but I only had one or two from time to time, not a serious problem. It emits a very low blue light that you would never really notice unless the room is very dark. I was concerned that I put it in the corner of the living room out of the way, but it still did the job. I have a 2 bedroom apartment so the one was sufficient, but you may need to place more of them for a larger space. It does come with 5 of the sticky glue boards so it will last a while, but I'm not sure if there are replacements available. It is very simple and straightforward to set up - and yes, it does block both the outlet it is plugged into and the second one as well.

I get gnats or fruit flies in my home at certain times of the year. They are annoying and hard to either avoid or control. I chose this because it allowed me to avoid those poisonous flying insect sprays. Pros: +It's easy to use. Insert the sticky board, plug it in, and the power button. +It seems to be effective. Of course, by the time I got this, the annoying insects seemed to move on for the season. After more than a week, I only have 2 of them on the sticky board. But then again, I don't have them dive bombing me at my computer. So...something is working. Cons: I don't really see any cons. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not entirely certain this thing attracts them to trap them. After a week, I only have 1 or 2 buggers trapped and I'm not sure if it's this device or just good timing.
