Hung one up under the stove's awning not far from the light and left the light on all night and day. While the other lights in the kitchen stayed off at night. With some patience and just letting it hang there it collected a few flies. Flies are attracted to light somewhat. I did not prepare food or use the burners while the fly strip was hanging and I threw out the strip and cleaned the stove even though the strip didn't touch anything. The strips helped out.

Product worked excellent in my kitchen. Somehow a large amount of flies where in my house and not small flies either. Worked great on catching larger flies. I didn't have smaller ones so I can't say about those.

My family in Japan and Hawaii has used fly strips for generations. They work. They are not the prettiest hanging in a home, but they can be out of sight and out of mind in a discrete location. We hang them near our garage door entrance to the house and our trash cans (inside our garage). These strips catch many flies, more than the electronic bug zapper and the more expensive traps by Raid. I have to change them once every one or two weeks. Cheap enough that I am okay with buying replacements.

They work good but the only thing is that the pin should be longer.

Weve used these for two years now. They hold up well, are easy to install and remove, the bugs stick easily, and dont smell. Out of all the bug fixes weve tried this one has been the most effective and best value.
