I got this corner bracket selection set because I am always repairing or building things that could use little bracing or reinforcement on the corners. This set includes all of the ways a corner would typically be braced. The brackets and screws all have a nice black finish. At 1mm and 2mm, I dont expect these to be the strongest brackets, but certainly useful for little jobs. The Flat-T and Flat-L angle pieces are only 1mm thick, The holes in these braces are NOT countersunk because there just isnt enough material to do it meaningfully,. The description points out that the heads are countersunk, but only the thicker angle L brackets are. For this misleading description I deduct one star from the rating. Lastly, the case itself is barely adequate. Many of the pieces escaped their compartment and ended up in the center one, leaving the lid bulging outward. Some of the parts and pieces actually found their way out of the case. I ended up putting the screws in their own small, plastic bags, and foam blocks around the various brackets. The pieces can still migrate when the case is mishandled, but there is a better chance they will stay inside. Otherwise, for $9 this is a very handy corner brace set.

Used this to attach a corner hutch bottom and top together. Screws were not too deep and its is now solid unit without fear of the top falling on my reckless children.
