The Troybilt Storm 2410's have two different carburetor setups, but this carb will work for both. My 2410 has a long black plastic extension that goes to the top of the plastic cover that covers the carb. All I had to do to make this carb work was to remove the extension from the old carb by pulling out the metal butterfly using a pair of vise-grips. This will allow you to remove the extension and the stem. On this carb (the new one) unscrew the two screws holding the butterfly to the brass choke stem. remove the stem vertically. Now, insert the plastic stem and extension from the old carb and replace the butterfly paying attention to correct orientation of the butterfly. Twist choke extension to check for freedom of movement. The new carburetor is ready to install on the Storm 2410. There are videos on the internet that show parts of this process. There are also carburetors that have the plastic stem pre-installed, you would just have to remove the extension from your old carb and put it on the new one.

This kit had everything I needed plus some. Solid deal.

I bought this to replace a gummed up snowblower carb and once I figured out the gasket situation it ran like a top BUT the choke arm didnt work with the OEM choke lever and while I was able to replace the arm it didnt sit in the detents properly so I put an o-ring in between the arm & lever and its fine now. ALSO!! If your fuel line is pointed downwards, grab pliers or a wrench and turn the new fuel line inlet downwards otherwise it will start but die in a few seconds (ask me how I know)

Installed it on the snowblower, started it up and the engine idled and throttled up smoothly. Installation was easier than I expected

Worked out good for our snow thrower. Bought another as backup for future use
