Easy to install once you've tapped into the main line. The press to connect mechanism works well for the tubing, but it's a little finicky for last emitter in a line. The stop plugs need to be really firmly plugged to prevent leaks.

I just recently got a new irrigation system but found that I needed many more emitters. This 25 pc. package is great -a reasonable price - $0.52 a piece. Hookup couldn't be any easier - just push the 1/4" tubing into the connector and you're done. The push to connect fitting is leak free, secure and easy to install. The emitters are infinitely adjustable. You can leave it fully open and it fan sprays out about a 6 inch radius. If you close up the head so that it literally drips - that is the setting I have because you don't affect the water pressure and can connect 10x the amount of emitters over what the manufacturer suggests in this setup. The benefit of setting it to a slow drip setting over a couple of hours is that it keeps the water more centralized over the roots and keeps it wet longer. You'll use even less water this way. I use a automatic timer and it's completely hands free for my vegetable garden with ultra low water usage.

I use both the spray emitters & the drip emitters. Each has it's own place in an irrigation set-up. These emitters create a wide, fan-shaped spray. The nice thing about these is that you can adjust the intensity of the spray. If you have a single plant, you can set this so that you have a smaller spray. If you have planted a mass of flowers, you have the option of increasing the size & output of the spray. You need fewer of this type of emitter because it sprays outward, rather than just drip downward. They're reasonably priced, as well. These are normally priced at $14.99, or $.60 per emitter. They're currently on sale for $12.99, or $.52 per emitter. Even at about $15.00 for 25 emitters, if you have a large garden & need to buy a few sets of these, it is still an affordable option. I have had some trouble with a few of the emitters. That was easily resolved by opening the spray head, cleaning out any leftover debris from manufacturing & in some cases, using a needle to remove dust from inside the spray head. I've been very happy with their performance. Additionally, these have a quick-connect feature that makes these very easy to use & set up. The tubing inserts easily & then there's a cap that fits over the connection to hold it securely in place. There's no need to use hot, soapy water to soften & lubricate the tubing, as you have to do when using barbs. On these the overcap on the the connection secures the tubing in place. Barbs carry the risk of having the tubing slip off, if there's a sudden unexpected surge in water flow. With the barbed connection, sustained excessive pressure can force the tubing of the barb, unless you attach a hose band clap at each connection, which is tedious, time-consuming & very likely to rust. Overall, I'd say that these emitters are a win-win & I'd recommend them to others.

I have two different irrigation sets for my garden, but This set is way superior. The old set I have, you have to heat the irrigation hoses in order to seat them into place, but this set you just push them into place and the way the connectors are made, it holds them in place without leaking. The emitters clip onto the stakes and you twist the tops to adjust the flow of water. I would not call this three levels. There is absolutely no way to gauge levels, and when you twist enough, the top just pops off. That's a bit of a pain when you have the water running and get a face full. Having said that, the emitters do work great once you have them set up the way you want, and it was easy to add the delivery lines to the emitters.

Over the past couple of seasons I've been building a five-zone irrigation system that includes micro-line (1/4") drip and fan-shaped emitters such as these. The best advice I can give in general is to stay far away from any components that rely on barbed connections. They are a pain in the neck to install and remove, and can be extremely unreliable (I've had many instances of emitters flying off the tubing due to the barbed connection). Oddly, none of the big box stores or garden centers in my area sell any emitters or connectors that use the so-called "quick-connect" technology that these employ. I would never use anything else. I have quite a few fan-shaped emitters such as these, but this product is the best of its kind I've ever seen. The biggest innovation is that each emitter actually has two connections, so that the micro-line runs through them. This means that instead of using four emitters plus four connectors (one for each emitter), you can use only one connector that's on the mainline and daisy-chain the emitters together. This is truly great: it saves time, is neater, and requires fewer components overall. The old fan-shaped emitters I have are fixed in terms of direction. With these, each emitter attaches to a very sturdy stake and the head swivels up or down, meaning you have far greater control over where the water is going. A great bonus is that the set comes with 10 termination plugs, for those instances where you don't need both connections (like the end of the line) A truly great product.
