I have some old sealed lead acid batteries, which I use from time to time to power miscellaneous projects or tools. I was tired of rigging wires to the battery terminals in janky ways, so this set of wire connectors is exactly what I needed. The batteries have varying connections, which makes this variety pack perfect. The heat shrink jacket also makes my connections look clean and neat. I dont really have a way of testing the performance capability of this product, but I can say that they work great.. No surprises there. Overall I see no reason this product shouldnt get 5 stars.

These seem like standard quality crimp connectors. They are useful because of the hot melt sealing glue in the heat shrink tubing. Keep that moisture and oxygen out of your crimp. They crimp well. Of course the quality of your crimp is based on the tool you use. Best to get a high quality leveraged calibrated anvil tool.

I have used these to re-wire a couple of things from a trailer to some COB LED lights and the connections that i have made so far are still working and they shrink uniformly and seem water resistant when properly heated.

This set of wire connectors contains almost every type you need for most projects. (260 pc set) Ring and spade connectors, butt connectors, and male and female joining connectors. They fit varying wire sizes from 10 to 22 gauge. They crimp on to the wires. Be sure to use a good crimping tool, as they dont necessarily crimp solidly with pliers. When used with the right size wire, the shrink insulation will shrink tightly against the wire jacket using a heat gun or torch. They dont have compound inside the insulation to assure a waterproof seal, but that doesnt really apply to these, as the ends of the spade and ring connectors are exposed anyway. If theres any issue with these its that the contact area for crimping is a bit small, but that also makes them easier to crimp. It is adequate for good contact. The other minor issue is that the shrink insulation around the female socket connectors may shrink to the point that it interferes with the insertion of the male end. If you connect the 2 ends (or insert an extra male end) before heating them you can avoid this. Nice value priced kit. 5 stars.

I've recently been looking at some home repair/remodeling and want to make some things less of an issue down the road. When it comes to electrical work and having easy connection types this definitely helps. For example, I'm removing some flush-mounted lights that we want to get rid of but aren't sure what we want there yet. Instead of having to twist some wires around a screw for electrical work that we aren't sure will have a strong connection we can use these ring connectors to be certain of that. Additionally, It's easier to just have the screw run through a circle connecter than trying to twist wires around it each time when replacing electrical fixtures. I like that since it is shrink-wrapping the wires it keeps them contained and safe from any moisture.
