When I put down my pool deck, made from 3/4" outdoor tiles, I glued a travertine edge to the tiles around the pool edge to cover the sharp corners. The adhesive I used was not great and many have come off over the years. I have put them back with epoxy pool putty, regular epoxy and some other things with varying results, but no system has lasted the way I would like it to. And these methods have required significant clamping time, which limits how many I can do at a time, given my makeshift clamp for this oddball job. When I saw this adhesive, I thought it might work, as the description used words like "marine adhesive" and "permanent". I also got some Ceramic adhesive, a super glue product, to substitute for clamps. Finally a system I love! I put 5200 adhesive on the mating surface in a zigzag pattern across the tile to within about 1/2" of the ends, then pressed it into place to distribute the adhesive well to both sides and to see that good contact was being made. Then I removed it, put a dollop of ceramic adhesive on each end and quickly put it back in place. After holding for 30 seconds, there was no movement. All the panels stayed in place to finish setting. The first photo shows what I was trying to accomplish. The second photo shows a test piece I put together. I did this with minimal prep, just a few strokes of sandpaper after the tile had sat around on the ground for years, so not nearly as clean as the tiles I glued around the pool. I pressed one on top of the other and let it sit overnight. I can't break the joint by hand this morning, so I believe strength is more than adequate to hold my travertine tiles on the pool as people step on them and push off to jump it, which is normally what pops them off. Time will tell, but right now I wish I had used this adhesive in the first place. Note: I started with a small opening at the tip of the application spout provided. It was really too small, necessitating heavy pressure to squeeze it out and I split the end of the tube. After cutting the spout back to a larger opening, it was easy enough to apply. One thing I don't like: The directions say the adhesive cures from moisture in the air and that the product should be used within 1 day of opening. So don't expect to use a little, put it in storage for later and use it again. It would be so convenient to just keep around the shop, but apparently it isn't suitable for that.

I used this to form a seal / water barrier for the drain/ elbow in my hot tub. I did drain the tub first and then used some wet and dry sand paper to ruff up the area around the drain. I applied the sealant and let it sit for 24 hours per the instructions and the leak was fixed.

I bought the wrong type but am looking forward to using this product . When you have a boat you will always want to seal someting

You would think they could at least seal the back of the tube. Nope made a huge mess, project delayed. Waste of time and money.
