These aren't actually clear, and I'm not sure that they are nylon, which in my experience is a relatively stiff material. They aren't what I hoped, but they are reasonably priced and the size is accurately described. I have long made my own motorcycle windshields out of plexiglass and lexan, and have to force the shields into shape and into place with heat and pressure. To spread the load I've made my own plastic washers of at least 1/8" x 1" plexiglass or lexan, with carefully rounded edges. It's a substantial project to create such washers, and I wrongly hoped these would be a shortcut. These are thin, soft, rubbery floppy things, that wouldn't serve to spread any load.
