The most important feature is leakage, and this fitting doesn't, even at full pressure. Get another washer, the one supplied tends to fall out.

I used this on the inlet side of a multi-stage water filter for washing cars. I don't have any issues with fitting it into the filter housing outside of learning the hard way I needed to use both plumber's putty and Teflon tape. No big deal, that's on me for inexperience. It appears to be pretty decently constructed and hasn't started corroding on me yet. My issue is that there isn't really a groove for retaining the o ring for the garden hose thread. This leads to a potential mess because I have to be mindful not to lose said o ring when it inevitably falls out when I disassemble everything for transport to/from client locations. By comparison, the $6 brass fitting I bought from the local hardware store to do the same thing on a different (detachable) part of the system doesn't have this issue (of course, the trade off is the inevitable galvanic corrosion down the road).

This is a very sturdy fitting. It is heavy. They included teflon tape for the pipe fitting part. It is almost non magnetic so the stainless is pretty iron free to minimize corrosion. It includes 2 washers that have no tabs so they fall out.
